Unexpected comfort by the beach

The beach was just steps away, allowing us to enjoy morning walks in the sand. The friendly staff ensured our check-in was seamless and pleasant.

Unfortunately, we experienced a lack of housekeeping services on the second day, resulting in a messy room. Adjusting to this was challenging, but we managed.

The room was nice and clean, which was a plus. I liked that we could check in early, and the view was pretty amazing—just steps from the beach! The bed was a bit on the uncomfortable side, though, so I didn't sleep too well. Overall, it was good for the price.

the skylark beach inn was an absolute disappointment. the beds, honestly, were some of the most uncomfortable i’ve experienced—my back still hurts. i was shocked that no one came to tidy up our room or even bring fresh towels! not to mention, i expected complimentary drinks for my troubles, but instead, i received nothing. just couldn’t recommend this place.

Beds are incredibly uncomfortable—definitely need an update!!! The TV was broken and the bathroom light worked only intermittently—such simple things could make a big difference!!! A lack of outside seating was also disappointing!!!

It was just a great match for getting around the area in Old Orchard Beach with definitely value for money. The front desk person was lovely and really made me feel welcome when I needed to extend my stay. Bring your own towels just in case as housekeeping might not meet your needs.
